Maxtra Syrup may be given to your child with or without food. Always follow the exact dose and duration prescribed by the doctor. The dosage will depend on your child’s age, weight, and the severity of symptoms. Do not stop the medicine early, even if your child seems to be feeling better, unless advised by the doctor.

 

Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, or headache. These are usually mild and temporary.
